Last year at the DTE, I saw them with Hinder and Papa Roach and this was a bit of a let down in comparison. I brought my kids this time as I did not bring them last time, and I don't know if Chad swore that much last time or not, but you really notice it with kids around. Jason Joshua is incredible and has to be a smart band, so why throw the F bomb so much? Also, at this concert, he talked much more. About 1/2 hour of the concert is his taking breaks and jibber jabbing, which was a bit much for me. Even though I enjoy the interaction with the audience, this time it was a bit much. Their performance while singing, you can't beat it. They sound better live, what a talent. Shinedown had a few good moments, but other than that, Hinder, Papa Roach, and Saving Abel were much better front bands. I really missed the part when Chad would bring out Papa Roach and Hinder to do a rendition of AC/DC's Highway to Hell, one of the highlights last time. Thank goodness they sang Shaking Hands this time, but I did miss Someone That Your With, too good of a song for them to leave out. My kids called it their best ever, so it was definitely worth it, even if it wasn't as good as last time.
